Environmental Compliance Tool for Builders
EPA-funded Construction Industry Compliance Assistance Center (CICA center), the first of two such centers to be announced this month that will provide Web-based information and resources to further assist compliance with important federal and state environmental regulations. The new web-based CICA center, was developed by the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences, in partnership with the Associated General Contractors of America, the National Association of Home Builders, the American Road and Transportation Builders Association, and the Golf Course Builders Association of America.
Best Management Practices for Storm Water Phase II
The menu of BMPs is based on Phase II's six minimum control measures for small MS4s. While most C/U are not MS4s, the control measures listed could still assist institutions in complying with the EPA Storm Water Program.
The New SPCC Regulations: What You Need to Know&And Do
A conference on the revised SPCC Regulations was held in New Haven, CT. The conference was sponsored by Yale University, EPA and the C2E2. Several meaningful changes were made by EPA which will require changes by February 2003.
