The primary audience for “Model Practice” conference calls is campus Environmental, Health and Safety professionals, but we welcome participation by sustainability professionals, facilities personnel and administrators.

The calls are scheduled for the 3rd Friday of each month from 2 – 3:30 pm EDT.

The schedule for the next year (or Mike, change to next 3 or next 6) appears below. (or Mike you can place anywhereyou like)

Yes, we ask that you register on-line (see link or button below) for the call to ensure sufficient conference call lines are available and so we can provide you with the agenda and any key documents or web links prior to the call. You can register for multiple conference calls.

Absolutely. We welcome nominations. When you pre-register, please identify relevant links or attach documents that we can potentially share with others.

Based on the discussion and the consensus of the group participating in the call, 3-5 “model practices” at colleges and universities will be selected and the relevant documents and links identified on the Campus Environmental Resources (www.campuserc.org) web site. This EPA funded “compliance assistance center” is being developed by NACUBO with help from APPA, C2E2 and CSHEMA. The mission of the center is to provide educational institutions with the knowledge, tools and resources to maintain regulatory compliance, improve management and operate sustainably.

A C2E2 member workgroup assists in selecting topics, hosting the call, participating in the monthly calls and reviewing annually the “model practices” included on the www.campuserc.org site. For more information about the C2E2 or this service, contact Tom Balf at tbalf@c2e2.org
