The EH&S Technology Workshop took place at Princeton University May 24th 2007. Presentations are now available in PDF and slideshow format.

Two-thirds of colleges and universities are developing or have an interest in developing an Environmental Management System (EMS), yet EMS activities are still in their infancy. That finding, and many others, can be found in the 2006 Benchmark Survey of the State of Environmental Management Systems at Colleges and Universities©. More than 250 individuals at 206 colleges and universities completed the survey.

The C2E2 is proud to make available a copy of "A Practical Guide to Hiring a Sustainability Professional for Universities and Colleges." This is the C2E2's "americanization" of the original guide developed by our partners in the United Kingdom, the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC).

The Campus Consortium for Environmental Excellence received a grant from EPA and has developed an environmental Best Management Practices (BMP) Catalog for colleges and universities. The catalog can be viewed here.
