EPA's Office of Solid Waste held a public meeting on June 18, 2003, to discuss issues associated with hazardous waste management in research and/or academic laboratories. The purpose of the meeting was to present EPA’s progress on issues specific to waste management in research and academic laboratories and solicit input from individual stakeholders on approaches to addressing these issues.
