You’re probably familiar with your own town’s or city’s recycling
program-and probably recycling household waste such as newspapers, magazines,
office paper, plastics, aluminum cans and glass. But what about a typical campus
power plant? What kind of recycling program might be implemented there?
This section will discuss the sorts of waste that can be recycled at a power
plant, ways to integrate recycling into your school’s program and the
regulations involved. In fact, in some places, such a recycling program is required.
