Having the correct emergency equipment in a laboratory is one of the first
steps in ensuring the safety of lab personnel. Some of the basic equipment and/or
information you should know include: emergency contact information, fire alarm,
emergency exit, and the emergency coordinator for your lab. Also, receiving
training on emergency response procedures is important.
