5.0 MANAGEMENT REVIEW

There are no arrangements for top management to review the environmental management system for suitability, adequacy and effectiveness.

Top management does not have plans or commitment to review the EMS for suitability, adequacy and effectiveness.

Top management does, however, receive information with respect to compliance issues on a reactive, as needed basis.

Top management may provide guidance specific to a compliance topic or project.

Top management has plans or commitment to review the EMS for suitability, adequacy and effectiveness.

There is no schedule for periodically reviewing the EMS, however.

The management review is not fully articulated and therefore may not include sufficient environmental performance, compliance and EMS information to allow top management to carry out its evaluation.

Recommended changes to policy, objectives or other elements of the EMS are recorded.
